Gain.pro is nominated for the Top 5 Young Scalers award

Gain.pro is nominated for the Top 5 Young Scalers award

Gain.pro is named one of the Top 5 Young Scalers in the Netherlands by Nlgroeit.

Each year, Nlgroeit works in collaboration with The ScaleUp Dashboard of the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) and the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship (ECE) to name the top 250 growth companies headquartered in the Netherlands based on their extraordinary year-over-year growth. These businesses have at least 10 FTE (full-time equivalent) or at least €5m in turnover, and have an annual growth rate of at least 20% in FTE and/or turnover for 3 consecutive years. This year’s list features prominent scaleups, including AdyenMollie, and Elastic.

The companies on this list are among the fastest growing in the Netherlands and account for the lion’s share of all new jobs created. In fact, they have created over 35,000 new jobs over the past 3 years. What’s even more impressive is that 61% of them were in 2021 alone.

This past year, Gain.pro has opened up dozens of career opportunities across Europe to support our rapid growth. This year also marks the opening of our new office in Bangalore, India. Recognizing our efforts in accelerating our business, Nlgroeit distinguished Gain.pro with the Young Scaler award nomination.

The Young Scalers award highlights the companies from the list of 250 who have achieved outstanding growth within 5 years of being founded. Together, they have accounted for over 2,000 new jobs in the last 3 years – which is an impressive number for such a small group.

Gain.pro is proud to be on this list as it represents the hard work and dedication our entire team has put into building our platform. We started as a small team of 5 with a shared goal to build an intuitive platform that provides full visibility on the private market. Now, after 4 years, our team has grown to 134 talented individuals from all across the world who have been responsible for expanding our reach, making Gain.pro an unrivaled private market intelligence platform.

Scaleup success in the Netherlands

Alongside the shortlist of young scalers, other companies out of the top 250 growers were distinguished for their outstanding performance in unique areas. The Top 5 Impactful Growers award, for instance, recognizes a group of high performing companies that focus on at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations, while still scaling at impressive rates. Interestingly, most companies in the long list of 250 aligned with these SDGs, with most involving efforts to organize climate actions or to promote responsible consumption and production.

Nlgroeit recognizes the fastest growing female-led scaleups with the Top 5 Female Scalers award. As women continue to be under-represented as founders and leaders in scaleups, it’s important to celebrate their success stories to show that these achievements are also attainable for other women. Every year, the number of female-led companies in the top 250 rises, with this year jumping from 8% to 12%. Even so, there’s a long way to go to close the gap in gender representation. Highlighting female leaders’ successes in awards like this is a great place to start.

Overall, Dutch scaleups have taken off in recent years, with most companies in the top 250 doubling their growth rate between 2020 and 2021. Scaleups are reimagining their markets with disruptive missions, and, as ECE puts it, have been “a breeding ground for crucial transitions to solve pressing socio-economic challenges.”
